President Joe Biden
endorsed

Vice-President Kamala Harris

to follow him as the next
President of the United States of America when he spoke about leaving the race.
First Lady Jill Biden’s endorsement of Harris
followed in a handwritten note on the same day.

Other endorsements for Vice President Harriss came thick and fast from prominent Democrats, including Senators, Governors, and Representatives.

Harris also gained the endorsements of former President Bill Clinton and his wife, former First Lady Hilary Rodham Clinton, a former Senator and Secretary of State, and Former President Barack Obama and his wife, First Lady Michelle Obama. Harris quickly gained enough committed delegates to become the Democratic nominee on the first vote at the Democratic Convention.

Speculation now revolves around who she will choose as a running mate.
